EVENT: Presentation and School Tour
DATE: Friday, June 25
TIME: 2:00 - 3:30 PM
LOCATION: George Whittell High School
On Friday afternoon June 25th from 2:00-3:30 we will be having a gathering at Whittell High School. Dick Brownfield, former principal and teacher, and Howard Bennett former principal and teacher will be talking to all alumni and family's about the history of the school. There will be others involved in this presentation, not sure at this time, but it will be very interesting for all to hear. After the presentation the student council of Whittell will be taking folks around on a tour of the school. Hope everyone will attend this as it will be so much fun to go back in the days.
Memorial Presentation: A plaque in honor of those Whittell Wariors no longer with us will be presented by Alumni Association President Diana Hames Hermann

THE MAIN EVENT: George Whittell High School All School / All Class 50th Anniversary Reunion
DATE: Saturday, June 26
TIME: 10 AM 'til the cows come home (or midnight, whichever comes first)
LOCATION: Round Hill Pines Beach & Marina
Ticket Prices: General Admission - $10;
General Admission with Meal (see food details below) - $20;
Alumni Association Membership includes Admission with meal and 10% off any Alumni Assn
Merchandise
Children 12 and Under are Free
All tickets are available to pick up "Will Call" the day of the event
On-site Parking: Parking is $5 per car payable in cash the day of the event.
Overflow Parking: The SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE is back. The latest update on the shuttle service is: "It is confirmed that shuttle services WILL be available once the parking lot has reached its capacity. When this happens, signs will be located out front with instructions on where to park. Shuttle fee will be $1.00 per person each way and will need to be paid directly to the driver upon entering the shuttle. (5 yrs and under, free). We estimate the shuttle will run from 2-7pm. Cash only please."
Food: Meals will be available at the reunion and will consist of your choice of chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs and assorted side salads. Please do not bring any food or beverage with you. (NO OUTSIDE FOOD & BEVERAGE ALLOWED) Children's meals may be purchased at the reunion for $8 and food will also be available at the snack bar.
Snack Bar: The snack bar will be open and serving their regular fare
Beverages: Beverages will also be available for purchase at the reunion: Soft Drinks - $1, Beer - $2, Wine - $3, Mixed Drinks - $5.
Music: A DJ is scheduled to entertain from Noon to 4 PM. and the band starts at 6 PM
Souvenirs: T-shirts and souvenir mugs will be available for purchase at the event and special keepsake tickets with the same design as the T-shirt are being printed
Auction: A framed enlargement of the 1962 Zephyr Cove Schools group photo will be auctioned off at the event with all proceeds going to support your newly formed George Whittell High School Alumni Association
Other Activities: Paddle boat and Jet Ski rentals and parasailing are available at Round Hill Pines Beach and Marina
MASSAGES ON THE BEACH:$1.00 per minute with a 10 min. minimum. Both table and chair massages will be
available. Payment terms are CASH ONLY and will need to be paid directly to your massage therapist.
LAKE CRUISES:Round Hill Pines will be hosting cruise specials throughout the day. If you would like to set sail
on the lake, here are your choices:(Prices are not included in the reunion admission)
Lunch Cruise 11am-1:00pm - $50.00 per person (Includes Meal)
Emerald Bay Cruise – 2:00pm – 4:00pm - $45.00 per person (No meal)
Sunset Cruise – Departing time TBD @ 5 or 6pm - $25.00 per person / Cruise time: 1.5 hours
